Delete your account and data

Last updated: August 9, 2026

OneVault holds very little about you, and none of it is your vault. This page sets out exactly what that record contains, how to have it erased, and which parts you can delete yourself right now without asking us at all.

01 What we actually hold

There is no OneVault account in the usual sense. There is no sign-up, no password on our side, and no profile. What exists is a single row of app metadata, created so your purchase and free-access period work across a reinstall:

  • A random install identifier generated on your device
  • A hashed device identifier, scoped to OneVault alone
  • Your Google account email, only if you turned on cloud backup and signed in
  • Your paid status and which plan you hold
  • App version and platform
  • When the app was first seen and last opened

Our payment processor, RevenueCat, separately holds a purchase record keyed to the same email so your Premium unlock survives a reinstall. That is covered by the same request.

The Privacy Policy describes all of this in full.

02 What we cannot delete, because we never had it

Your passwords, cards, secure notes, 2FA codes and records are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password. We hold no copy and no key. There is nothing on our side to delete, and nothing we could read if there were.

If you turned on cloud backup, the encrypted blob sits in your Google Drive or on your WebDAV server, not ours. Only you can remove it, and section 04 explains how.

03 Requesting deletion

Email rakul0agn@gmail.com with "DELETE MY DATA" in the subject line.

Send it from the Google account email you used for cloud backup, if you used one. That is how we identify the record, and sending from the address itself is what verifies the request is yours. If you never signed in, say so and include the install identifier shown in Settings, at the bottom of the screen.

We delete the record and confirm by reply, normally within a few days and always within 30. There is nothing to pay and no reason we will ask you for.

You do not need the app installed to make this request, and you do not need to reinstall it to have the request honoured.

04 Deleting things yourself, right now

Most of what exists is already under your direct control:

  • The vault on your phone. Uninstalling OneVault erases it. It is not recoverable afterwards without a backup, so export anything you still want first.
  • Your Google Drive backup. In Google Drive, open Settings, then Manage apps, find OneVault and choose Delete hidden app data. OneVault only ever had access to its own hidden folder, never the rest of your Drive.
  • A WebDAV backup. Delete the OneVault file from your server the same way you would any other file.

05 What happens to a purchase

Deleting your data is not a refund, and it does not cancel anything. A Premium unlock is a one-time purchase held against your Google account by Google Play, not by us, so it survives the deletion of our record. If you install OneVault again later and sign in with the same account, Restore Purchases will bring Premium back.

Refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy, not by us. See the Terms for details.

One consequence worth knowing: the deleted record is what remembers when your free-access period started. If you delete it and later install the app again, that period is calculated afresh.
